Pittyvaich Distillery

Overview

Pittyvaich Distillery was built in 1975 by Arthur Bell & Sons Ltd.  Exclusively used in blends of the Diageo group it ceased production in 1993.  Based in Dufftown in Banffshire and getting its water from the Jock's well, it was completely dismantled in 2003 and will not longer produce Scotch.  This rare single malt is mainly used in Bells blends, but can be found in Diageo's flora and fauna collection.
